Earlier generations of crowns were not always as realistic or aesthetic as the crowns, veneers and bridges that we produce today. New technologies have led to a revolution in dental aesthetics. Traditionally, old crowns would clearly stand out and look false. It is common to see a dark line develop around the margins of the crowns next to the gums. They were usually made of metal and porcelain.
Marie hated the way her teeth looked. She had old NHS crowns and bridges on her top teeth that had been in place for many years. These crowns looked false and big, and there was a large gap in between her front teeth.
We completely transformed Marie’s smile with all porcelain crowns and dental-bridges-liverpool. We designed her new smile to remove the gap and make the teeth in proportion with each other.
