Treatment Coordinator
My job is to personally look after the patient from their very first contact with Liverpool Smile Studio. I am on hand throughout their journey with the Practice to ensure they have a great experience. I help arrange appointments, discuss treatment options and costs, but most importantly to listen and understand exactly what the patient wants from their dental experience.
I have worked at Liverpool Smile Studio since 2006 and from my first day it always felt more than just a job, but somewhere you can enjoy your work. We have a great team and always try and help each other. You get a real sense of satisfaction seeing the transformation in people.
I think it's the sense that I play a part in making a difference in someone's life. It really is amazing to see the change in a person when they've finished their treatment. Sometimes it can be something simple that we've done but you can see a difference inside them and not just in their teeth.
Of course I am biased, but I think our best quality is that we really do care about helping you. We spend the time to get to know you and try and find a solution for everyone.
"I always felt that I had a gummy smile with quite small teeth. I didn't really like the way the front teeth angled in and crossed over slightly and I suppose like most people I wanted my teeth to be whiter. You see pictures in magazines and celebrities on T.V. and you're always a bit jealous of their bright, wide smiles.
I had a conversation with Dr. Bennett to see if anything could be done and we decided to look at some ideas. First we designed my new smile and from that moment I never looked back. I could see exactly how my teeth could change and started to get really excited about how I could look. We decided to remove some of my gum and then place veneers over my teeth to straighten and whiten them.
I was a little apprehensive at first but the excitement grew after each stage of the treatment. I think the whole process took about 2 months from start to finish. I had a little discomfort at first but nothing too serious. At least I was never far from a dentist if I did have a problem!
As soon as the treatment finished I was so happy. I feel so much more confident and I can't stop smiling. People are always complementing me on my smile. It's also really helpful in my role because I can tell patients my personal experience so they understand exactly what's involved in a smile makeover. I have absolutely no regrets about changing my teeth."
