Home whitening
We have a variety of options for teeth whitening available, from at-home whitening to utilising veneers Liverpool. Our home whitening treatment involves using custom-made trays and whitening gel to lighten the shade of your teeth. The trays are made to fit the specific requirements for your teeth and mouth to help to ensure a secure fit, and to minimise the contact between the whitening gel and your gums. This is important because it helps to reduce the risk of irritation to your gums. It is possible to see results from two to three weeks after beginning treatment (when treatment is repeated in line with our dentist’s advice), and the trays can be worn both in the day and overnight.
Enlighten
We are pleased to have on offer the Enlighten teeth whitening system carried out by an Enlighten teeth whitening dentist here at our dental studio. This treatment guarantees that you achieve the shade B1 (the lightest UK shade possible) by the end of treatment. Surprisingly this is irrespective of the degree of staining your teeth have at the start of the process.
A bespoke tray, created just for you, is used to house the substance used to whiten your teeth. Stains are broken down through the process of chemical oxidation, the active ingredient passing through tooth enamel to achieve this. Your tray needs to be worn overnight for two weeks and this is followed by a 40 minute appointment, face to face with our dentist, to finish off the course of treatment.
Porcelain veneers
While whitening treatments can be seen to be successful on a relatively short-term basis, veneers Liverpool could be an option for you if you are seeking to lighten your teeth on a long-term basis, where a full set of veneers is chosen. This is because the shade of the veneers is adaptable and so can be adjusted in order to achieve a lighter shade overall.
